Intake & Triage  provides a service that takes into account the person's needs in an holistic way. 

It give you the opportunity to tell us what you would like support with and us the oppportunity to assess if our services would benefit you.

Who is the service aimed at?

  • LGBT people aged 14 and over*

  • People who need support but aren’t sure where to turn

  • People who feel overwhelmed by their problems and would like support with a number of different issues

  • People who would more understanding about our services


*Age eligibility varies depending on which service you would like to access.

How do I access the service?

Simply complete the LGBT Foundation Self Referral Form and return it to or return via post to Referrals, LGBT Foundation, Number 5 Richmond Street, Manchester M1 3HF.

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll be in touch and you will be offered an initial telephone assessment and, if necessary, a follow up meeting will be arranged. 

The meeting will indicate which service(s) are most suitable to your needs and we'll complete any necessary referral paperwork.
