Afternoon T.E.A logo

Afternoon T.E.A

Afternoon T.E.A is a group for trans young people aged 14-25. The group takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, 1-3pm at 49/51 Sidney Street, Manchester, M1 7HB.


Rainbow Noir

Rainbow Noir is a social and peer support group for people of colour who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer and/or Intersex (LGBTQI). They meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Manchester's LGBT Centre on Sidney St.

Butterflies logo


Butterflies provides an open and welcoming space for members of the trans community. Meetings are on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, 3-6.30pm at LGBT Foundation.

Connect logo


Connect is a relaxed and friendly social space for trans* people aged around 18-35, including people who are questioning and those with a trans* history. It takes place on the 1st Monday and 3rd Friday of every month from 15th April, 6-8pm at LGBT Foundation.

Manchester Concord logo

Manchester Concord

Manchester Concord is available for all trans people as a regular venue where they can come along and meet old and new friends. It takes place every Wednesday, 7-11pm at Villaggio, 44 Canal Street, Manchester, M1 3WD.

MORF logo


Manchester’s social and peer support group for trans masculine people who want to meet other trans masculine people, discuss relevant issues, and have fun in a safe environment. The group meets every 4th Monday of the month, 7-9pm at LGBT Foundation.

TransForum logo


A peer support group and discussion forum for all trans people and those in any way questioning their gender. You will be heartily welcomed as an individual or together with your partners, family or friends. Takes place every 4th Saturday of the month, 3.30-7pm at LGBT Foundation.

Trans Bare All

TBA works with the trans community, helping people accept their bodies and live more fulfilling lives. They run events to explore and discuss sex and intimacy, body positivity, and emotional wellbeing.




Support for domestic violence. Tuesday 1-5pm is a trans specific service.

Healthcare Support

Action for Trans Health logo

Action for Trans Health

The UK’s largest campaign for democratic trans healthcare. They give small grants to trans people to enable them to access healthcare, deliver training to medical professionals, provide healthcare advocacy, and support and deliver local trans health initiatives. They have groups in Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds and Brighton. Please contact them to find a meeting near you.


Sparkle logo


Sparkle is the world’s largest trans event held every July. This year marks the 12th year Sparkle has been celebrating with Manchester’s trans community. The festival includes music, talks and workshops that are all free to attend.

Manchester’s free trans swimming group is open to all trans people. They have exclusive use of the pool during this time. The group is on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 7:30-9pm at Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre, Yew Tree Avenue, Manchester, M19 3PH.


Trans United FC

Trans United football club is a Manchester based football group open to all Trans people regardless of your footballing ability or experience.

Art Groups


Queer of the Unknown

Queer of the Unknown is a queer art collective based in Manchester. They hold a Queer poetry night every second thursday of the month at Subrosa Social Centre, Lloyd Street South, Manchester, 7pm - 10.30pm.
